Assistant Professor (SG) in the Department of Humanities at University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES) Dehradun. As an Associate Head served the department for 10 months ( July 2018) handled all Academic, Operational & Administrative responsibilities. Joined, as a Lecturer in the Centre for Professional Communication in July 2008 and earned doctorate in English Literature, from Gurukul Kangri University, Haridwar in 2005. The area of interest is Indian Writing in English with focus on the Role Old and New Values in the Novels of Bhabani Bhattachrya. Undertook major responsibilities and performed various roles during my tenure in the campus, such as Cultural Convener for almost 7+ years, catering responsibilities - CSR & NSS as a committee member. Had the Opportunity to organize many events including 3 international conferences, as co convener and workshops as well.

Publications includes over 10 research papers in the peer-reviewed journals, paper presentation in the international and national conferences, along with 5 books/chapters in a book. Completed seed project “A feasibility study to analyze the possible impact of linking Adhaar (UID) with mid-day meal: a case based analysis of two rural primary school and two semi-urban primary school in Dehradun District”. Developed online courses in English Communication, Sociology, Mind Body wellness and Social Internship.

Concerned with the issues related to the LEGH Movement (Literature, Environment, Gender and Human Rights) ,serving as one of the Coordinators of FSLE-India for its Uttarakhand Region and appointed District president National Human Rights Foundation, India.
