He has an Industrial Experience of 17 Years with RPG-HMV –EMI (The Gramophone Company of India Ltd,), Kolkata. There he worked successfully up to the rank of Technical Manager. He also worked as a consultant in the SPV industry and designed various Systems and subsystems.
He worked as a Full time and Visiting faculty member in various Govt. Engineering Institutions. He has an Academic experience of 17 Years. He joined RCCIIT in the year 2011,
His research interest areas are IoT , Embedded Systems , ML , Green Energy , EV and Power Electronics .
He worked as the Head of the Dept. for both the Dept. of Electrical Engg. as well as for the Dept. of Electronics and Communication Engineering . He also served the Institute as Principal time to time.
He has several copyrights and one published Patent. He published a number of articles in Journals , conferences and Book Chapters. He is a Member of IEEE .
Prof. (Dr.) Ashoke Mondal had completed his B.E. in Electrical Engineering in the year 1986 from then Bengal Engineering College , presently IIEST . Further he completed his M.E.Tel.E (M.E.) through GATE scholarship from the Dept. of Electronics & Communication Engineering of Jadavpur University , Kolkata in the Year 1988 .
He continued the full time research work from 1988 to 1993 in the Dept. of Electronics and Communication Engineering of Jadavpur University under the project of School of Energy Studies.. He obtained his PhD (Engg.) degree on Solar Photovoltaics System Design from Jadavpur University.

This project is intended to develop DC Fast Chargers of Capacity ranging from 1.5 KW to 6.6 KW targeting 3 wheelers and 2 Wheelers EV mainly .There will be both types of modes of operation likeFast charging and Slow Charging depending on requirement and availability. The Electronic Circuit will include all the safety measures like protection of Battery from Over voltage and Deep Discharge conditions, maintaining proper cooling arrangement to arrest rise in temperature within in the safe limits. This project also aims to develop DC Slow / Fast Chargers of Capacity ranging from 11 KW to 43 KW targeting 4 Wheelers & Passenger Electric Vehicles . The proposed circuit will also include all safety measures like overload protection, thermal protection & advance cooling.
