Monotoring Mangrove

On October 19, 2025, our team conducted mangrove monitoring activities in Pengudang Village, Bintan Regency. This activity was part of an ongoing program aimed at monitoring the growth and condition of mangroves planted during rehabilitation activities over the past two years. Monitoring was conducted at several planting locations that had been marked with coordinates. The activity began with measuring the height and diameter of the mangrove stems, recording the survival rate, and observing environmental conditions such as salinity, water turbidity, and the presence of supporting biota. During the activity, the team also documented changes in the condition of the mangrove vegetation and cleared the area of ​​debris and weeds that could hinder growth. The mangrove species observed included Rhizophora apiculata, Avicennia marina, and Bruguiera gymnorrhiza.
