Career developed in chemistry with expertise in polymer development, organic chemistry, homogeneous catalysis, physicochemical analysis, product research and development, formulation of coatings, during her academic stay, she also acquired experience in some characterization techniques, such as: NMR, HPLC-SEC, UV-Vis, FTIR, cyclic voltammetry, elemental analysis, rheology, TGA, DSC and GCxGC. Patricia has published 6 papers during her master’s and PhD, contributing to several collaborations. She also worked in the teaching field and acquired experience teaching in the classroom to undergraduate students. She has more than 60 communications presented at congress, conferences and participation in events. She is currently a member of PRR (Plano de Recuperação e Resiliência) at Instituto Superior Técnico (IST) in Lisbon.

Realization of projects to improve processes and reduce costs of existing products in order to maintain their quality.
- Realization of the necessary adjustments to enable the escalation of new products, checking the equipment, scale, heat generated and other variables involved.
- Preparation of technical reports of project monitoring, standard production procedures (PFP) for the production of new products / or products optimized on laboratory scale, pilot and production, portfolios, technical bulletins and reports of physicochemical analysis pertinent to the samples generated in the R&D Industry, Colloidal Silica and Polymers - Conducting technical visits to customers to help in the preparation of new products. - Implementation of documentation and spreadsheets to control samples and all traceability of the lots produced. - Development and application of the best technologies for new processes and products, in addition to performing treatment of industrial effluents and chemical waste, in order to preserve the environment Reduction of the production.
