Vocational Education is needed in a fast developing country as Rwanda.
Rapid urbanization, changing socio-cultural dynamics, and increased exposure to global media have influenced lifestyle choices among, contributing to behaviors such as substance abuse, unprotected sex, poor dietary habits, and physical inactivity. Drawing on both qualitative data, the research examines how socioeconomic status, peer influence, family structure, and access to health information shape these behaviors. The findings highlight the urgent need for targeted public health interventions, youth-friendly education programs, and policy reforms to address these emerging challenges and promote healthier lifestyles among Rwanda’s urban youth.
