Biography
She holds a degree in Philosophy, a master's degree and a doctorate from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (1993/1998/2006); and a postdoctoral degree from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (2019/2020). She is currently a full professor at the Federal University of Viçosa - UFV. She works in the Graduate Program in Education - PPGE/DPE/UFV. Member of the International Gramsci Society (BR Section - 2015/RJ), and of the Latin American Network for Social Change (since 2020). Leader of the Research Group Education, Knowledge and Educational Processes and of the Study Group of Contemporary Classics in Education - GECCE (2010-present). Founding member of the Paulo Freire Chair (DPE/UFV). Research topics: higher education, internationalization, epistemology, civil society and student formation. Among other writings, she organized the works Education and Human Formation: multiple perspectives on educational praxis (2021); Interdisciplinary Dialogues: questions about university.
