Biography

MOHAMMED Y. AALSALEM obtained both his master's and Ph.D. degrees specializing in sensor networks, the Internet of Things, computer networking, network security, and trust management from the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology at the University of Sydney, Australia. He took up a position as an Associate Professor at Jazan University's Faculty of Computer and Information Technologies in March 2009. Between 2009 and 2014, he established and led the Deanship of E-learning and Distance Learning at Jazan University. Later, he served as the Dean of the Faculty of Computer and Information Technologies from 2014 until August 2018. He is currently an Advisor to the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Private University Education, and Manager of the initiative to attract international universities to the Kingdom, Ministry of Education. Before that, He was the Adviser to His Excellency the Deputy Minister of Education for Universities, Research, and Innovation.
