Biography
Ahmad Feras Akkad was born in Aleppo, Syria, in 1992. He received his Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Electrical Power Systems Engineering) with excellent in 2015. He was appointed as a teaching assistant at the University of Aleppo, Faculty of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Department of Electrical Power Systems Engineering, specializing in distributed power generation, in 2016. In 2017 He was awarded a scholarship and sent to the Russian Federation to pursue his Master's and PhD degrees in the field of distributed power generation. He received his Master's degree from Nizhny Novgorod State Technical University in 2020. He is currently a PhD student. His research interest includes : Distributed generation of electric energy, renewable energy, electric power quality, D-STATCOM, control using artificial intelligence (fuzzy logic).
