Biography

I am an assistant professor at the Bahria University Health Sciences Campus (Karachi), where I am also pursuing a PhD in public health (epidemiology and biostatistics) at Baqai Medical University Karachi. I previously earned my Master of Public Health from Nanjing Medical University, China. My professional journey includes serving as a lecturer at Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences Jamshoro and as a Deputy Manager at the Indus Hospital and Health Network Karachi. My research interests lie in advancing and refining epidemiologic methods, particularly in risk prediction, repeated measures, multivariate analysis, causal mediation analysis, causal inference, mixture analysis, simulation studies, big data, and the application of machine learning techniques. I apply these methods to a range of public health domains including chronic disease epidemiology (cardiovascular diseases, sleep, Hypertension, obesity, diabetes mellitus, kidney diseases, and cancer).
