Biography

She holds a bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences from the State University of Montes Claros (2008), a master’s degree in Social Development from the same institution (2012), and a dual doctoral degree in Social Policy (2016) and Sociology (2024) from Fluminense Federal University (UFF). She is currently completing a postdoctoral fellowship in the Graduate Program in Sociology at UFF (2024–2026). Her academic and professional trajectory focuses on topics related to quilombola communities, traditional peoples and communities, social rights, territorial conflicts, racial inequalities, rural sociology, sociology and law, and anthropology and law. She is a researcher at DATAUFF (PROEX/UFF), the Center for Business and Social Studies (PROEX/UFF), and the Applied Interdisciplinary Research Center (PROPPI/UFF).
