Biography
Graduated in Industrial Chemistry and Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul. PhD in Chemistry from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, with a sandwich period at the Autonomous University of Barcelona. Professor of Chemistry in the Department of Natural Sciences at the Federal University of Espírito Santo (São Mateus campus). She is a permanent member of the teaching staff of the Postgraduate Program in Teaching in Basic Education (PPGEEB) at the Federal University of Espírito Santo (UFES), where she is acting as Deputy Coordinator. She is currently the area coordinator of the Institutional Program for Teaching Initiation Scholarships (PIBID) for the undergraduate Chemistry course at UFES, São Mateus campus. Her main lines of research are: Chemistry teaching (development of teaching materials and differentiated methodologies; use of active methodologies; teacher training); Use of agricultural waste as a bioadsorbent.
