Biography

Andre Uebe is head of Master Vocation Programme in Teaching and Its Technologies at Instituto Federal Fluminense, Brazil. He works as professor and researcher in Education and Business Management focused on active learning methodologies and computing in education. Andre has developed his doctoral research on Complex Thinking and Digital Social Network for student collaborative learning and continues studying about new ways for students skills development for the digital economy. His research was awarded by the Brazilian administration council. He holds a PhD in Computing in Education from the Rio Grande do Sul Federal University, Brazil and also graduated in Business Administration since 1998. He is leading the NPCA [Núcleo de Pesquisa do Pensamento Complexo Aplicado | Research Group of Applied Complex Thinking] He believes that Complex Thinking, active learning methodologies and computing technologies can make difference for the innovative students skills to the new digital eco

Education

PhD in Computing in Education from the Rio Grande do Sul Federal University, Brazil. Master in Social Communication from the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Master in Production Engineering from the Universidade Estadual do Norte Fluminense, Brazil. Gradutaion in Business Administration from the Universidade Candido Mendes, Brazil.
