Biography

An architect and urban planner with a distinguished academic record, I graduated as a University Rank Holder and Best Thesis Awardee in my Bachelor of Architecture from McGAN’S Ooty School of Architecture, Anna University, securing First Class with Distinction. I further pursued a Master’s degree in Urban Planning at NIT Calicut, graduating with First Class with Distinction, where my academic focus deepened toward sustainable urbanism and regional planning. My research centers on carbon-neutral planning, ecological resilience, and strategic land-use frameworks, particularly within fragile hill and island ecosystems. My postgraduate thesis, Enhancing Carbon Absorption in the Nilgiri Hill Region: A Strategic Approach, explored planning-led mechanisms to strengthen regional carbon sequestration through integrated environmental and policy-driven strategies. Professionally, my experience bridges academia and industry.
