Biography
Dr. Arun Singh is working as Assistant Professor at the Department of English, University of Rajasthan, Jaipur. Over and above teaching and various administrative responsibilities, he is actively engaged in research areas like Postcolonial Studies, Civilizational Studies, Indian Knowledge Systems, and the Revolutionary Movement of India. He has published papers in international journals of repute and has been cited by authors published in Scopus indexed journals (Taylor and Francis and Brill). He regularly writes film reviews and columns for "patheykan" portal of Vishwa Samvad Kendra and takes part in film festivals. 'Cinema as an art has some creative onus towards society', he holds such a view about films for which he works with Film Aayam of Rashtriya Svayamsevak Sangh and organises screening of feature films, documentaries and short films.
