Biography

Dr. Prashant S. Arya completed his doctoral study from the Department of Microbiology & Biotechnology at Gujarat University, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, with qualifying ICAR NET. He is recently working as an assistant professor at the SRICT-Institute of Science and Research, UPL University of Sustainable Technology, Gujarat. His major works emphasize microbial primary and secondary metabolites from diverse ecological niches. He has been actively involved in research with a major focus on and studies on various aspects of enzyme production, waste biomass valorization, extremophiles, natural pigments, and bioremediation. Dr. Arya has authored 17 research articles, and conference papers, showcasing his expertise in waste valorization, environmental microbiology, and biotechnology. Apart from that, Dr. Arya is the editor of Books chapters published by Scrivener and Apple academic press which was published soon. Moreover, he also contributed few book chapters published in International Publishers.
