Biography
Dr. Bejan Hamawandi is a distinguished researcher in the field of materials and nanophysics, with profound expertise in the synthesis and characterization of nanostructured thermoelectric materials. His work includes various methodologies to develop advanced materials for energy conversion applications, including solution chemical synthesis and microwave-assisted heating. Dr. Hamawandi’s research has significantly contributed to the understanding of organic-inorganic composites and their potential in thermoelectric systems. His innovative approach to green chemistry and sustainable material production is evident in his projects, such as the UncorrelaTEd project funded by the European Commission. His doctoral thesis and supervised master projects reflect his commitment to advancing the thermoelectrics field by developing novel materials and processes.
