She has worked as an academic fellow at Balvant Parekh Centre for General Semantics and Other Human Sciences, Baroda. Her PhD (University of Kerala) was an analysis of the idea of alternative history and historicity of fictional narratives with reference to the theories of Michel Foucault. Her research articles, poems, and translations have appeared in national and international journals and anthologies including Poetry Chain, Kritya, Samyukta, ETC: A Review of General Semantics, JWS: A Journal of Women’s Studies, South Asian Ensemble, Kavyabharati, Korzybski, And, & the volumes titled The Virtual Transformation of the Public Sphere and Media and Utopia.
