Biography

Highly accurate and experienced Statistician and Data Scientist adept at collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large (or any size) datasets, contributing to the ongoing development of data intelligence and providing insight into the business. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Training and professional education for team members. I have 36 years of undergraduate and graduate teaching and research experience in the field of Statistics at Statistics Department - Federal University of São Carlos and over 10 years of academy management (director of graduate program, head of department, university council member). I received my Ph.D degree in 1993 from South Carolina University, USA. I have published over than 50 articles in statistical modeling (mostly focused on market problem solving) and co-author of the books: 1. Data Mining, 2. Statistical Modeling for Operational Risk, 3. Statistical Modeling for Credit Risk 4. Statistical Process Control Using R 5.
