Biography

He is a member of the Working Group on State and Educational Policy of ANPEd; Collaborating researcher at the Research Group on Public Policies, Education and Society at Unicamp (GPPES) and the National Interinstitutional Research Group on Brazilian Secondary Education (EM-Pesquisa). Professor in the Undergraduate and Postgraduate Programs (Master's and Doctorate) in Education, Knowledge and Society at the University of Vale do Sapucaí (Univás), linked to the research line on Public Policies and Management. He coordinates the Research Center in Education, Knowledge and Society (Nupces) at the same institution and is part of the extension project of the Education, University and Public School Network (REUNE) in Minas Gerais. Areas of interest: Public Policies and Education; Evaluation and Management of Public Education; Educational and School Inequalities; Sociology of Education; Education and Democracy.

Education

He completed his Post-Doctorate at the Faculty of Education of the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP, 2025), linked to the research line Education and Social Sciences. He holds a PhD in Education from the Postgraduate Program in Education at Unicamp (2019) and a Master's degree from the Federal University of Itajubá (UNIFEI, 2014). He has a degree in Social Sciences from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-RJ, 2012).
