Biography

Celso A. S. Santos is currently Technical & Scientific Director at FAPES (The Espírito Santo Research Foundation). He is also associated professor at Federal University of Espírito Santo (UFES), with the Department of Informatics. He holds a Doctorat (1999) in Computer Science from the UPS, Toulouse, France. His thesis was carried out at the LAAS/CNRS. He was Collaborator Researcher at ICMC-USP, in São Carlos, from August 2018 to August 2019, during his sabbatical year. He has supervised 8 PhD and 28 MSc students in Computer Science on topics such as multimedia tools and applications, synchronization, digital video, digital TV, human computer interface, model driven approach for computational systems. His current research interests include multimedia application design, multi-sensorial applications, interactive spaces and Human Computer Interfaces evaluation.
