Biography
His research career focuses on the integration of technologies, the development of digital competencies, cybersecurity, and the energy transition. He is the leader of the project "Energy Transition of Urban Transport," which has materialized the implementation of a fleet of electric vehicles in Sancti Spíritus, significantly reducing CO₂ emissions. Due to his outstanding career, he has received numerous recognitions, including the National Young Researcher Award 2024, the World Science Prize 2025 awarded by the World Council of University Academics and Researchers (COMAU), as well as several awards from the Academy of Sciences of Cuba and Technological Innovation Awards. He is a member of the MES Young Researchers' Network, the Youth Council of the Academy of Sciences of Cuba, and COMAU LATAM.
Education
He graduated as a Computer Science Engineer from the University of Computer Sciences (UCI) in Havana in 2013, with a specialization in free software and the Internet. Subsequently, he completed a Master's degree in Pedagogical Sciences at the University of Sancti Spíritus "José Martí Pérez" (2014–2017) and finished his postgraduate studies, earning the degree of Doctor of Sciences in the Department of Computer Engineering at the same institution of higher learning (2019–2022).
