Biography
Practicing physiotherapist since 2011-2019. Worked in private outpatient clinics, elderly centers and sports. From 2015-2019 worked in inpatients acute care and outpatients in several departments in a public Hospital of Unidade de Saúde Local de Castelo Branco - Hospital Amato Lusitano. Started the PhD in Public Health at NOVA National Schoool of Public Health, Universidade NOVA de Lisboa, as was awarded with a PhD grant from Fundação para a Ciência e Tecnologia, with national funds (SFRH/BD/148420/2019) in 2019. During the PhD developed a project, granted with an independent grant from Pfizer (ID 64165707). Started lecturing in 2016 in Escola Superior de Saúde Dr. Lopes Dias, Polytechnic Institute of Castelo Branco as an invited assistant professor in the BSc course of physiotherapy, until 2022. In 2023 started to work as an invited professor in Escola Superior de Saúde, Polytechnic Institute of Setúbal, and as an associate professor in Escola Superior de Saúde do Alcoitão.
