Biography

Dr. Sanjay Kumar Gupta is a Professor and Head of the Department of Pharmacology at Rungta College of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research (RCPSR), Bhilai, Chhattisgarh, and serves as Dean (Research & Development). He earned his Ph.D. in Pharmacology from Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya, Bilaspur, under the UGC-BSR fellowship, and completed his M.Pharm from the University of Pune. With over 16 years of teaching and research experience and prior industry exposure in regulatory affairs, his expertise spans experimental pharmacology, antihypertensive research, and nanotechnology-based drug delivery systems. He has published more than 30 research papers, along with books, book chapters, and patents. Dr. Gupta has guided numerous postgraduate and doctoral scholars and actively contributes as a reviewer, examiner, and resource person. His work reflects a strong commitment to advancing pharmaceutical research, education, and innovation.
