Biography
Dr. Satya Prakash is a distinguished Professor and Head of the Department of Vegetable Science at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel University of Agriculture & Technology (SVPUAT), Meerut, India. With over 23 years of experience in horticultural research, teaching, and extension, he is a recognized authority in the field of Vegetable Science. He earned his Ph.D. in Horticulture in 2003 and has since dedicated his career to the genetic improvement and production technology of vegetable and fruit crops. His research interests specifically include precision farming, organic nutrient management, and the standardization of breeding techniques for crops such as Okra, Cucumber, and Pomegranate. Dr. Prakash has a prolific academic record, having published more than 170 research papers in reputed NAAS-rated national and international journals. He is also the author/co-author of over 20 influential books, including "Objective Horticulture" and "Seed Production of Vegetable Crops."
