Biography
PhD in Communication Sciences from the University of São Paulo (ECA/USP), with a research internship at the University of Barcelona (UB) funded by the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP). Master’s degree in Media Studies from the University of Campinas (UNICAMP). Coordinator of the Maria Aparecida Baccega Chair, an extension and research project focused on media and digital education. Leader of the research group Communication, Digital Literacy, and Consumption (DIGICOM) and member of the COM+ Group (ECA-USP) on innovation and trends in digital communication. Research focuses on digital communication, media and digital literacy, consumption, innovation in journalism, disinformation and digital platforms, and literacies for artificial intelligence. Advises Master’s and PhD students and is involved in editorial work, academic evaluation, and the organization of events in the field of Communication and Media Studies. Author of several peer-reviewed articles and book chapters.
