Biography
Since 2010, she has been a History professor at UFF-PUCG, working in the areas of Modern History, Political History, and Renaissance Philosophy. Since 2023, she has been a permanent professor in the Philosophy postgraduate program at UFF. Her research focuses on the Italian Renaissance, Humanism, and Religious Reforms, with an emphasis on authors such as Coluccio Salutati, Leonardo Bruni, and Erasmus of Rotterdam. She is the author of several articles and essays on the Renaissance. Currently, she is dedicated to translating and analyzing the political texts of the Florentine chancellor Leonardo Bruni. She is a member of LERen: Laboratory of Renaissance Studies, and leader of LER (Laboratory of Republican Studies).
Education
Holds a degree in History from the Federal Fluminense University (1999), a master's degree (2001) and a doctorate (2006) in Social History of Culture from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro, a post-doctorate in Philosophy from PUC-Rio (2010), a post-doctorate in Philosophy from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (2016), and a post-doctorate in the Department of Literary Theory and History - IEL from the State University of Campinas - UNICAMP (2023).
