Biography
Fabiana Faleiros is an artist-researcher with a PhD in Arts from UERJ (2017) (CAPES and FAPERJ Nota 10 scholarships), a Master’s degree in Communication and Semiotics from PUC-SP (2007), a postgraduate specialization in Interactive Media from the SENAC School of Communication and Arts, São Paulo (2005), and a Bachelor’s degree in Social Communication – Advertising and Propaganda from UCPel (2002). She is currently a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Visual Arts at ECA-USP. She has experience in the field of Arts, with an emphasis on Performance, Installation, Artist’s Books, and Video, working on the following themes: art and technology; lecture-performance; artist’s book; graphic arts. In 2017, she was a member of the Capacete Athens / Documenta 14 Program at the Athens School of Fine Arts. She is the author of the book O pulso que cai e as tecnologias do toque (“The Falling Pulse and the Technologies of Touch”).
