Biography

Flávio Andaló is a Professor of Animation with extensive experience in 3D modeling, digital animation, and architectural visualization. He holds a PhD in Design, a Master’s in Design and Graphic Expression, and a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and Urban Planning from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC). Since 1999, he has been actively involved in the digital arts field, bridging the gap between technical precision and creative expression. His professional journey includes significant work in 3D animation for games and cinema, as well as the authorship of the book Modelagem e Animação 2D e 3D para Jogos. Currently, his academic and professional interests focus on the intersection of design, technology, and sustainability, exploring how visual media can contribute to environmental awareness and education.

Education

Flávio Andaló holds a PhD in Design (2019), a Master’s degree in Design and Graphic Expression (2011), and a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and Urban Planning (2006), all from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC). With a solid background in both animation and design, his academic trajectory reflects a deep engagement with visual representation and digital media.
