Biography

Collaborating Professor at the Graduate Program in Communication and Professor of the Journalism Course at the Higher School of Advertising and Marketing (ESPM). Teaches courses in Media Relations, Public Communication, Crisis Management, Coverage of Social Movements, Independent Journalism, among others. Member of the Communication, Consumption, Image and Experience (Sense) Research Group of the Graduate Program in Communication at ESPM. Was a member of the Research Group on Democracy and Justice - Margem - at UFMG. Worked for 10 years as Communication Coordinator for the Council of Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy of the State of São Paulo (Federal Public Body).

Education

Holds a PhD in Social Communication from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG). Her dissertation was selected by the UFMG Graduate Program in Communication (CAPES 6) as the best of 2020. She also won the Eduardo Peñuela Compós Thesis Award - 2021, an award granted by the National Association of Graduate Programs in Communication to the best dissertation in the field of Communication.
