Biography
Graduated in Chemistry (1990) from the Federal University of Ceará, where he completed a master's degree (1995) and doctorate (2003), in the area of Natural Products Chemistry. He completed a post-doctoral internship in 2010 in the toxicological Biochemistry Program at the Federal University of Santa Maria - UFSM/RS. He is an Associate Professor at the Regional University of Cariri (URCA), Brazil. He is coordinator of the Natural Products Research Laboratory - LPPN/URCA. He works as a journal reviewer, Ad hoc consultant for CNPq and member of the editorial board of several national/international scientific journals funded by CNPq, FUNCAP and FINEP.
