Dr. Gandharve Kumar

Biography

I completed my Ph.D. from the Centre of Nanotechnology, Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee in 2022. My research focused on wastewater treatment by advanced oxidation processes, including heterogeneous photocatalysis with various synthesized catalysts (e.g., mixed oxide catalysts). It is activated by various oxidants, viz. hydrogen peroxide (H2O2). I have published seven research papers in peer-reviewed journals viz, Separation and Purification Technology, Process Safety and Environmental Protection, Colloids and Surfaces A: Physicochemical and Engineering Aspects, and many others, in my Ph.D. work. - My broad research interests include the domains of Heterogeneous catalysis, Wastewater treatment/ water purification, Remediation of emerging contaminants, Advanced oxidation processes, and characterization techniques.
