Biography
Gbenga Emmanuel Adeboye is a distinguished international scholar in Stage Management and Performance Studies, and a lecturer in the Department of Dramatic Arts at Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria. His teaching and research focus on indigenous performance aesthetics, decolonial theatre pedagogy, and intercultural performance practices. Adeboye’s scholarship bridges theory and practice, exploring how traditional African performance forms inform contemporary stage management and production methodologies. He has presented papers at international conferences and published in reputable journals on African theatre, ritual performance, and creative pedagogy.
