Biography
Dr. G. Kumar is an Assistant Professor of Statistics in the Department of Mathematics at SRM Arts and Science College, Kattankulathur. He holds a Ph.D. in Statistics from SRM University, along with M.Phil and M.Sc. degrees from Loyola College, University of Madras. With over 23 years of teaching experience, he has taught a range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses, including Biostatistics and Business Statistics. Dr.G.Kumar has published more than 28 research papers in national and international journals, covering topics such as discriminant analysis, financial performance of banks, and sentiment analysis. He actively participates in conferences and faculty development programs to enhance his skills and stay updated with new developments in statistics. He is topper In Swayam NPTEL courses and successfully completed 8 courses. His research interests include statistical modeling, biostatistics, city size distribution, and urban studies.
