Biography
Fahri Dikkaya studied first on history in Boğaziçi University, but after deciding studying archaeology, he studied archaeology in Ege University. He received his bachelor degree in archaeology from Ege University in 1997, his master degree in Settlement Archaeology Program from METU in 2003 and PhD degree in history from Bilkent University in 2015. Before teaching at TED University, he taught Civilization History and History of Turkey courses at Bilkent University as part-time instructor. His research subjects include Late Medieval Anatolia and the foundation of Ottoman Empire, Historical Archaeology, Ottoman Archaeology and Theoretical Archaeology, on which he has published and read papers at international journals, books and conferences.
