Biography
Arshad Masood Hashmi (born April 04, 1968) is an Indian author of Urdu. He has recently published a translation of Tao Te Ching in Urdu with the title "Fazail-e-tark-amal". He teaches Urdu Language and Literature at Jai Prakash University, Chapra, India. He has authored the following books in Urdu: 1. Lu Hsun kay Shahakar Afsnay (لوہ سوں کے شاہکار افسانے) 2. Jadeed Cheenee Shaeri (جدید چینی شاعری) 3. Naghma-e-Shaman (نغمۂ شمن) 4. Cheenee Adab par Hindustnai Adab ke Asarat (چینی ادب پر ہندوستانی ادب کے اثرات) 6. Shakeelur Rehman ki Ghalib Shenasi (شکیل الرحمن کی غالب شناسی) 7. Fazael-e Trak-e-Amal (فضائل ترک عمل) He has edited the following books: 1. Akhtar Shanasi (اختر شناسی) 2. Adabi Taqweemat (ادبی تقویمات)
