Biography
07/2013 – present ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR at the Department of Theory and Practice of Translation, Ternopil Volodymyr Hnatiuk National Pedagogical University. - Teaching and practicing translation and interpreting, with a special focus on artistic translation and consecutive interpreting in legal, mass media, and political discourses. - Developing and upgrading skills in academic translating and Genre Studies for translation purposes. - Teaching British Literature, American Literature, Cultural Studies, Comparative Literature. - Developing and teaching courses in Artistic Translation, Genre Theories of Translation, and History of Translation. - Use translation tools/software and other programs (CAD Translation Software) to streamline the translation process. - Participating in continuous improvement initiatives in Media Literacy; - Providing improvement ideas to processes and services in teaching, translating, and interpreting.
