Biography
Experience in general and oral physiology, pharmacology, anesthesiology, therapeutics, microbiology, and molecular biology, with research focused on antimicrobial activity of drugs, mechanisms of drug action, biofilms, oral halitosis, bacterial gene expression analysis, determination of minimum inhibitory and bactericidal concentrations, drug combinations, and disk diffusion assays. Reviewer for the journals BMC Oral Health and Heliyon. Teaching internship in Anesthesiology (Common Procedures II) in the Dentistry program at FOP/UNICAMP (2019). Teaching participation in Pharmacology (Biosciences II) in the Dentistry program at FOP/UNICAMP (2019). Teaching internship in General Physiology (Biosciences I and II) in the Dentistry program at FOP/UNICAMP (2022–2023–2024).
Education
Dentist (DDS) from the Federal University of Maranhão (2018). Master’s degree in Dentistry, with a concentration in Pharmacology, Anesthesiology, and Therapeutics, from the Piracicaba Dental School (FOP/UNICAMP), supported by CAPES and CNPq scholarships (2019–2021). PhD in Dentistry, with a focus on Physiology, from the same institution, funded by a FAPESP scholarship (2021–2025).
