Biography

Jagabar Sathik Mohamed Ali received the M.Eng. and Ph.D. degrees from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Anna University, Chennai, India, in 2004 and 2016, respectively. Currently, he is an Associate Professor with the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, SRM Institute of Science and Technology, KTR Campus, Chennai. He was a consultant for various power electronics companies for the design of power electronics converters. He has authored more than 90 articles in internationally reputed journals and conference proceedings. His current research interests include multilevel inverters, grid-connected inverters, and power electronics converters and their applications to renewable energy systems. He received the Certificate of Recognition (Publication) from the IEEE Madras Section for his articles and also, he received a top research award from Prince Sultan University, Riyadh where he was a postdoc fellow during 2020-2023.
