Biography

Founding member of the International Network for Studies in Legal and Criminal Sociology (RIESJP); member of the editorial committee of the journal Crítica Penal y Poder (ISSN 2014-3753) between December 2022 and May 2025; and collaborator with the Observatory on the Penal System and Human Rights at the University of Barcelona from 2018 to May 2025. Between 2019 and 2023, he was he was a teaching and research assistant at the University of Barcelona, under the supervision of Professor Joan Antón Mellón, thanks to a Teaching Training Grant (FPU), a pre-doctoral contract awarded through a competitive process by the Spanish Ministry of Universities.Coordinator of the ‘V UB International PhD in Law and Political Science Conference: Law and Social Change’, as well as panellist and speaker at numerous national and international conferences.

Education

Doctorate: 2024 (July): Doctor of Law and Political Science with international distinction from the University of Barcelona. Grade: Excellent cum laude by unanimous decision. Official Master's Degree: 2018: Master's Degree in Criminology, Criminal Policy and Legal-Criminal Sociology, specialising in Legal-Criminal Sociology, from the University of Barcelona. Official Bachelor's Degree (professional qualification): 2016: Bachelor's Degree in Criminology with a specialisation in Criminality, Social Sciences and the Penal System from the University of Seville.
