Biography
Juliana has worked in SSR primer development, phylogeny, genetic diversity, and gene expression analysis using RT-PCR, and RNA-seq. She has published 10 papers, 5 as first author. She integrated 7 project teams. She has acted as a reviewer in the Molecular Biology Reports journal and the South African Journal of Botany. Juliana has experience in Bioinformatics, Biotechnology, Genetics, Evolution, and Biodiversity. Currently, she has a post-doc position at UTAD and leads a BioISI project.
Education
Juliana Lopes has PhD in Biological Science in 2019 at Universidade Federal de Juiz de Fora, with an exchange period at the University of Florida under Dr. Pamela Soltis's supervision. She has a Master's and bachelor's Degree in Biological Science from the same institution.
