Research Interests
My research focuses on exploring novel catalytic system for the rapid and efficient construction of small molecules. Of great importance is that the methods are highly selective, which covers chemoselectivity, regioselectivity and enantioselectivity. I am part...
Biography
Jun was born in changzhou, jiangsu province in 1989. He received his B.Sc. in Chemistry from Soochow University in 2011. He began his graduate studies at Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry working with Professor Shu-Li You on the development of rhodium-catalyzed asymmetric C-H functionalization. In 2016, he moved to University of Freiburg and joined the laboratory of Professor Bernhard Breit. His postdoctoral research included palladium catalyzed direct allylic alkylation of electron-deficient (hetero)arenes with alkynes and stereoselective hydroaminoalkylation of alkynes and allenes by using a combined rhodium/photoredox catalytic system.
