Biography
Kalid Hassen Yasin, a lecturer and researcher at Haramaya University in Ethiopia, specializing in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), remote sensing, and geospatial analysis. My research focuses on environmental conservation, land management, rangeland management, and invasive species, with notable contributions in ecotourism potential mapping, water erosion risk assessment, and groundwater depth estimation. I have also worked with various organizations, including the Haramaya Land Administration and Use Office, Sebeta Municipality (Urban Land Adjunction Department), and the Furii Sub City, Sheger City (Development and Plan Office).
Education
BSc in GIS, a BSc in Computer Science, and an MSc in Remote Sensing.
