Biography

Dr. K. Krishnakumar is a Professor and Head of the Department of Commerce at Periyar University, Salem, Tamil Nadu, India. He holds an M.Com, M.Phil, MBA, and Ph.D. With 24 years of teaching, 19 years of research, and 6 years of industry experience. He has published more that 150 articles in UGC-listed, peer-reviewed, and Scopus-indexed journals. He is the author of two textbooks, "Marketing" and "Practical Auditing," and is currently running an ICSSR-funded major research project on rural women entrepreneurs in Tamil Nadu's informal sectors. Dr. Krishnakumar has presented papers at over 150 national and international conferences and seminars. He has guided 15 Ph.D. scholars to completion and currently supervises three others. He has delivered more than 125 special addresses and invited talks.
