- La Salete Alves is currently Invited Auxiliar Professor at the University Institute of Health Sciences (IUCS) at CESPU, Regent of the Curricular Unit of Forensic Dentistry. - She is Researcher at Unit for Multidisciplinary Research in Biomedicine (UMIB)/ITR – Laboratory for Integrative and Translational Research in Population Health – ICBAS, Oporto University - She is Researcher at Oral Pathology and Rehabilitation Research Unit (UNIPRO), the R&D Unit of IUCS-CESPU - She is Dentist, was born in Felgueiras (Oporto, Portugal), city where she lives and practices private dental clinic in “Clínica La Salete Alves”, since 2004. - She is a writer, author of the book “Prof. J. Pinto da Costa – The Doctor, the Teacher, the Communicator”, released on June 8, 2022, in ICBAS, Oporto University.
