Biography
He holds a bachelor's degree in Philosophy of Science (University of Pisa) and a master's degree in science journalism from SISSA in Trieste. In 2013, a second Level I master's degree in Internet technologies sponsored by the Faculty of Computer Engineering and the Institute for Informatics and Telematics at CNR (National Research Council). Before the job at the Institute for Chemical-Physical Processes at the CNR in Pisa, he founded with a friend a small publishing house for popular science and has a number of books to his credit. In the five-year period 2012-2016, he coordinated the "Areaperta" committee (http://www.areaperta.pi.cnr.it), which is in charge of science popularization initiatives for the Pisa Research Area. In June 2019, he discussed his doctoral thesis in Energy Engineering with a dissertation on the extractive capacity of oil companies at the Department of Civil, Environmental and Mechanical Engineering (DICAM), University of Trento.
