Biography
Dr.J.Lydia Pramitha is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in Genetics and Plant Breeding under Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences, Coimbatore. She has a research experience of seven years and has been working in mainstream crops like Rice, Maize, Sesame and Small millets. She has a teaching experience of three years and has guided four Post Graduate Students. Lydia has published seventeen articles and ten book chapters in peer reviewed, scopus indexed and high impact factor journals. In addition, she has authored a book entitled “Small Millets Exploring the hidden Potential” and she has also served as a reviewer of Research Journals for Frontiers and Springer in aiding the publication of research articles of scholars. Inclusively she has received nine awards including young scientist award from Dr. David Vasantharaj Foundation and Marina lab.
