Biography
Dr. Manoj Tiwari holds a Professor position at NIFT Kannur's Department of Fashion Technology. He earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Textile Technology in 2003 before going on to get a Master of Fashion Technology in 2006 and a Ph.D. from NIFT, Delhi. In addition to expertise directing an international project involving capacity building and consulting in manufacturing and production management, he has contributed to many consulting and skill development projects. In conferences and journals, he has presented and published more than 70 research papers and articles. Together with Prof. Prabir Jana of NIFT Delhi, he co-authored and coedited the books "Industrial Engineering in Apparel Manufacturing: Practitioner's Handbook" (ISBN: 9788193247204) and "Lean Tools in Apparel Manufacturing" (ISBN: 9780128194270). Additionally, he served as a Core Team member for the acclaimed INDIAsize project (The National Sizing Survey of India).
