Biography
Biomedical graduated from the University of Aveiro, with interdisciplinary work in biomedicine, neuroscience, space medicine, open science and space sciences. She is the founder, CEO and president of the LIASTRA Institute, founder of the ICBS International Center for Biomedical Space Sciences. Works as a researcher linked to the Multi-Omics Analysis Working Group of NASA GeneLab/OSDR, scientific editor and reviewer of scientific journals. Develops projects and publications in the areas of neuroscience, molecular oncology, biomarkers for Alzheimer's disease, microgravity, human health in extreme environments, artificial intelligence applied to science and scientific education. He has complementary and postgraduate training in Astronomy, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science and Machine Learning, as well as experience in citizen science, scientific olympiads, scientific dissemination, educational programs and international cooperation.
Education
I hold a Bachelor's degree in Biomedicine from the University of Aveiro, where I conducted research on neurogenesis and its implications for neurodegenerative diseases under the supervision of Dr. Sandra Rebelo. I also pursued medical studies at Universidad Nacional de Rosario and Universidad Austral. Currently, I am undertaking postgraduate studies in Astronomy and in Artificial Intelligence & Data Science at Faculdade FGE (Brazil), while also pursuing an MBA in Business Management at Atom Educação e Editora S.A., supported by a Shark Tank E-School scholarship.
