Biography

PhD in Information Sciences from the Complutense University of Madrid (1999) and Degree in Information Sciences from the same university (1989). She worked for advertising agencies such as Valmorisco Asociados and AGR-Agropubli. After 30 years as a teacher and researcher at the Nebrija University of Madrid, she is currently a professor in the Faculty of Communication and Arts at the same university, and Dean of the same Faculty (2013). She holds an Expert Diploma in Senior University Management from Nebrija University (2015), and has been Vice-Dean, Head of Advertising Studies, Director of the Department of Advertising and Marketing, and Academic Coordinator. Since December 2024 she is the director of the Nebrija-L'Oréal Groupe Chair (BELSILVER) in Communication, Image and Wellbeing in the Silver Generation. Her research activity is focused on media, audiences, media planning and digital communication and on competences and professional profiles in digital communication.
