Biography
Holds a degree (1991) in Agronomy from the Federal University of Lavras - ESAL/UFLA, a Master's degree in Agronomy (Soils and Plant Nutrition) from ESAL/UFLA (1994), and a Doctorate in Agronomy (Soils and Plant Nutrition) from UFLA (1997). Post-Doctorate at Lancaster University - Lancaster Environment Centre, UK (2019). Was a Researcher II at EMBRAPA/CNPS from 1994 to 1997, working in the area of Soil and Water Management and Conservation. In 1997, he joined UFLA as an Assistant Professor I, assigned to the Department of Soil Science - DCS, in the Soil and Water Physics and Conservation Sector - SFCSA. Currently, he is a Full Professor, teaching the subjects of Soil and Water Physics and Conservation, Soil and Water Conservation, Teaching Internship, Advanced Research, Supervised Research, Sustainable Management and Conservation of Soil and Water, and Special Topics in Soil Science and Environmental Sustainability, in both undergraduate and graduate programs.
